Litter Letters in Belfast, Northern Ireland ask everyone to THINK!
Spring 2019, Belfast City Council created 5ft. tall Litter Letters spelling out THINK to encourage the community to be aware of how much waste we generate, and be more mindful of ways we can reduce and recycle our waste. The THINK litter letters debuted at Belfast City Council's Summer Rose Fair in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. Later in the summer the Litter Letters sat in front of Belfast City Hall where the litter on display represented 50 bags of rubbish - just a small proportion of the litter that is picked up across the city each day to remind everyone to dispose of litter properly and keep Belfast clean and tidy.
